How We Serve Our Community

The Kiwanis Club of Fargo performs service beyond the capability of the individual; assistance to youth; assistance to the needy; improvement of the community; and encouragement of international understanding.

The Kiwanis Club of Fargo supports the NDSU Circle K Club, Fargo South Key Club, Fargo Shanley Key Club, and the Aktion Club.

Where and When
We meet at the Fargo Country Club at 509 26th Ave. S, Fargo on Tuesdays at Noon. 

Weekly Activities
11:45 am to 12:15 pm - Lunch and fellowship

12:15 pm to 12:35 pm - Group singing, announcements, special reports, welcome guests.

12:35 pm to 1 pm - Program for the day which may include speakers, special issue panel, music group, film, etc.

What We Expect of Members
Regular attendance at weekly club meetings, with at least 60% attendance as your goal.

Committment of your time once a year to our major fund raising project the Pancake Karnival, which is typically held on the second Saturday in February (subject to change).

New member sponsorship and acceptance of full responsibility inherent in any committee appointment and any office to which you might be elected.

What Members Can Expect
An opportunity to share your experience, knowledge, time and commitment of service to your community and fellow citizens.

The prestige of Kiwanis membership.

Fun, fellowship, and evidence of true friendship everytime you meet with us.

What Counts as Attendance
Primarily, attendance at weekly club meetings.

Secondarily, attendance at a meeting of any of the other thousands of Kiwanis clubs around the world or attendance at a regular meeting of our Board of Directors, who meet the second Monday of every month at noon.

Other opportunities to make up attendance include attending  a Circle K, Key Club, or an Aktion Club meeting or participating in a club service project.
